Trevor is the owner of Waves Salon by Trevor Kohlman, between 5th and 10th Avenues on 78th Street in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. With his artistic vision and impeccable attention to detail, Trevor enjoys working with clients to come up with styles customized to fit the right look to the individual.

With his own expert technique and 24 years of experience, Trevor's very well known in Playa by many of the ex-pats, frequent Playa vacationers/snowbirds, and locals. He's also known for his laid-back, relaxed personality, and his caring face-to-face client consultations to be sure to get each look just right.

A true master of his craft, Trevor keeps up with the latest techniques and hair trends and is trained in and has extensive knowledge on precision cutting and coloring techniques. He's also conducted educational seminars for high-end hair and beauty product lines such as Aveda, Davines, Pureology, Paul Brown, and L'Oreal.

He's owned hair salons in Alberta, Canada --MOPPS, Salon 528 and his award-winning FUEL Salon and in Playa del Carmen, Vida Salon and Day Spa and Waves Salon.
